i believe it is not a pterodactyl, but in fact a Pterosaur, otherwise an excellent piece of investigative journalism.

Actually, Michael Vaughan's technique, while useless in the management of the Kennington Pterodoctyl (Pterodactylus kenningtoniensus), due to it's lack of cervical sensory ganglia, is actually perfectly adequate in this situation.
