Stuart Broad, Leicestershire - one to watch in 2007

Good action: Long and narrow - fits nicely to the right of our writing. Lasith Malina: Bad action - too wide; interferes with the prose.

Stuart Broad keeps getting taller and faster. Working on the theory that he nearly played for the Test team last year, if he's a little bit taller and a little bit faster this year, he's a shoo-in (stupid phrase).

There are altogether too many 'promising' young fast bowlers at the moment and altogether too few fully functioning ones. Stuart Broad seems the most likely to cross that divide.

This is Jamie's link. There's a missing colon above if you've tried to copy-paste it.

We literally can't stop looking at those pictures now. It's really, REALLY unnerving.

It just goes to show, that you can be child actor turned success story.

It doesn't have to be drug/alcohol addiction & prostitution.

Come to think of it, sod the cricket and sign me up for some super 8 style failure, Huzzah.

Hang on...that's mega-hard "Agency" agent Mike Doyle.

Maybe that's why Broad hasn't been picked -- he's too busy working at CTU and foiling the use of WMDs.

We take it that's Mike Doyle from 24 and not the third most capped Manchester City player.

Confusingly, we now realise that Ricky Schroder, Mike Doyle from 24, was also Danny Sorenson in NYPD Blue, a programme we always used to watch half-asleep.

That's the kind of feeling we've got right now. Is Stuart Broad in NYPD Blue? Is that a good thing?

So that means its Stuart Broad playing doctors and nurses in Scrubs.

We all seem to be agreed on one thing at least: There is NOTHING that Stuart Broad can't do.

Let's set him the task of 'winning a one-day match for England'.

There's a challenge.

He could even manage it all in the style of 24.

Doyle gets to the crease and takes guard.

*three-way cut shot featuring Doyle looking focussed, Tait coming in to bowl, and Gilchrist crouching behind the wicket*

*cuts to a darkened room, containing Duncan Fletcher and a bearded man in Pakistan ODI kit*
